Description Digital wireless system for presentations and live shows The XPD2 Headset System lets you bring a wireless microphone to a variety of audio applications via its unique USB receiver. This digital system offers simple setup, professional full-range audio, and 100′ of wireless operation, making the XPD2 Headset perfect for live performance, digital communications, and mobile production. It features the RXD2 USB micro stick receiver, making it extremely simple and affordable to add wireless microphones to your audio production. The RXD2 can be connected directly to a PC or Mac computer or any Samson Expedition Series Portable PA System with a Wireless USB port. The receiver also features a 1/8″ (3,5 mm) output, an additional feature to traditional systems that allows for monitoring of headphones or the XPD2 handheld. With this output, you can pair the system with any device that has an analog line input, including smartphones and other mobile devices*. Also included with the system is the PXD1 Transmitter, which provides 20 hours of battery life using 2 AA batteries (not included), paired with the DE5 headset microphone. Another feature of the XPD2 Headset is digital transmission, a wireless technology that allows the transmitter to send an uncompressed signal to the receiver. This provides a higher signal-to-noise ratio than traditional wireless systems. The result is a performance that sounds similar to what you would get using a wired microphone. * To connect to an iOS device, you will need the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.
