Ardnahoe – Inaugural Release 2024 – 70cl50% Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at Ardnahoe Distillery – limited release – peated spirit made with barley from Port Ellen Maltings with a phenol content of 40 ppm – matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon casks (approx. 75%) and Oloroso sherry casks (approx. 25%). The wait is over. The Inaugural Release is the realization of the long-held dream of the Laing family to produce their own whisky on the magical island of Islay. This is the first peated single malt whisky from Ardnahoe Distillery since production began in 2018. This limited edition has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at a preferred strength of 50%, without artificial colouring or chill filtration. This marks a significant milestone for the Laing family, as well as a new and exciting chapter in Islay’s long and remarkable history as Scotland’s whisky island.
